28th Annual Salisbury Festival

We are so excited to be celebrating our 28th year, April 23-25, 2010 of highlighting downtown Salisbury, while celebrating spring, and helping non-profit vendors raise awareness and money for their civic organizations.

In the early 1980's, the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council's "Arts on the Plaza" assisted in highlighting the cultural emphasis of downtown Salisbury and local artists. The Chamber of Commerce sponsored the first official Salisbury Festival in 1982. The event has since grown to be the premiere festival in our area.

We would like to thank the members of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce's Festival planning committee for their tireless efforts in orchestrating this community event, Comcast and Toyota for their ongoing financial support, and the City of Salisbury for its manpower and support. Under Chair, Clay Tarpley's leadership, the planning committee has been working hard all year to make our 28th anniversary memorable.
